Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM, a service is held at the St. Francois County Jail. On alternating weeks, incarcerated men or women are given the opportunity to participate in a church service. Many salvation decisions have been made during the course of this important ministry.
At Christmas, we are allowed to assemble "goody bags" of wrapped candies and home-made baked goods to be distributed to the men and women, and to the jail staff. It's a small way to reach out and share the love and compassion of Jesus with those people whom have often been abandoned and shunned by family and former friends because of their incarceration.
